What is a Nicasello, does it mean anything?
Nicasello is a blend of my first and last name. It was a nickname given to me at the first job I had when I moved to Hawaiʻi in 2004. It reminds me of new beginnings and not being afraid to face your fears, to take chances and live life to it's fullest. Life is too short not to.

What do your packages include?
They include a personal webpage with downloadable High-Resolution Images, and print ordering capabilities.
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Digital enhancements and creative editing is offered on a limited amount of images. The amount of images edited depends on which package a client chooses. Please click here to view a couple of examples of my before and after edits.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Yes, I shoot using a variety of different lighting techniques throughout a wedding day. Everything from off camera flash to using only natural and reflective lighting. During the ceremony I only shoot using natural light in order to not disturb anyone's experience.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Although my background is in film, I miss the darkroom. I now shoot completely digital for all my professional jobs.
How many photographers do you work with?
During the day of the shoot I usually work only with an assistant.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. Nicasello Photography is a small husband and wife team. We do not have a list of photographers that work for us. If we are hired for your event, I will be there.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I never book more then one wedding or event on the same day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
The list of photographers here in Hawaiʻi is long, but I have a few I trust would be able to offer a similar style and professionalism.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
It depends on the shoot, but I always have a back up of gear on hand.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes, $200 for each additional hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I do not require a meal, but I will take a small break to snack on something if the event is longer then 6 hours.
Do you charge for travel?
Yes, $600 for outer island travel.
ARE YOU INSURED?
How soon after the event are the proofs/images ready for viewing?
Images are usually ready with in two to three weeks from an event.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes. The high-res images are available via a personal web page with social media sharing and print ordering capabilities. The web gallery will expire after a year.
How long can the client keep the proofs/images?
Once I've posted them to your personal web page, you will have up to a year to download and back up all of your images on your own hard drive or DVD. The client web site is up for one year.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I offer a co-ownership of the images. I retain the copyright, but allow my clients to make prints of their images with a release form.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, I am often updating my website and social media sites with current work. However, if I submit images from your event to a magazine or professional publication, I will notify you if they are published.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Currently, I do not offer albums.
